Menin Gate, Ypres (Photo supplied) - A memorial to over 54,000 missing Commonwealth soldiers who died in the Ypres Salient during World War I and have no known grave. Every evening at 8pm since 1928 (except during WWII), the Last Post has been played under its archway.
