Ashy Bines reveals health setback

Gold Coast fitness influencer Ashy Bines has been diagnosed with a second aneurysm after undergoing neurosurgery.

The incredibly popular heath industry figure revealed the shocking new to her followers on social media platform Instagram.

Ms Bines said the surgery on the first aneurysm, which is an abnormal swelling or bulge in the wall of a blood vessel such as an artery, had gone well but when she woke up doctors told her about the second aneurysm.

The discovery means Ms Bines will most likely need another operation before the end of the year.

“Successful surgery but unfortunately not the end I was hoping for,’’ Ms Bines wrote. I said I’d share my experience and as always there is no sugar coating, honesty always.

Ms Bines thanked the nurses at the hospital where she was treated.

“The nurses however are INCREDIBLE, I had two I was just sooooo lucky to have support me and be soooo kind,’’ she wrote.

“I cried when one had to leave to another more urgent patient lol that how much I adored her, she was a mumma and cracking the funniest jokes that were relevant to me which really helped lift my vibration when I was low.

“Nurses/doctors/surgeons YOU ARE INCREDIBLE, your job is not for the faint hearted and you are so appreciated.”
