Registration is free for everyone across any of the three days.
The trade show will feature free demonstrations and tastings across the latest baking trends.

Everything needed for the cake decoration workshops will be supplied for free.
Visitors can also expect cheesecake samples, Danish pastries, chocolate products and new bread products.
There will also be more products, displays and tastings across the three days.
Why It Matters?
The Baking Industry Trade Show gives Australia’s baking sector its own dedicated event.
For years, the industry had been waiting for a trade show built around its needs.
There are many strong trade shows across Australia.
However, this event was created specifically for the baking industry.
It gives bakers, suppliers, exhibitors and food businesses a focused place to meet.
Attendees can explore equipment, get technical advice and view the latest ingredients.
They can also learn about new products and ideas to support daily bakery operations.
The show also gives the industry a chance to network in person.
By The Numbers
The first Annual Baking Trade Show was held in Melbourne in 2017, creating a dedicated event for Australia’s baking sector.
The 2025 Baking Industry Trade Show was the biggest so far, with more than 55 exhibitor stands and major competitions that made national news.
The event will feature four major competition highlights, including the National Donut Competition, National Artisan and Croissant Competition, Australia versus New Zealand Sausage Roll Challenge, and Australia’s Best Pie and Pastie Competition.
Local Impact
The Gold Coast will host a national baking industry event at Gold Coast Turf Club Exhibition Hall 2.
The venue is close to hotels, dining options, tram access and the famous Gold Coast strip.
That location makes it easier for interstate visitors, exhibitors and local businesses to attend.
Free parking and the courtesy bus will help visitors move around more easily.
Zoom In
The 2026 Baking Industry Trade Show promises three packed days for the baking industry, with returning suppliers, new exhibitors, live demonstrations, workshops and free services information.
Visitors will be able to reconnect with favourite suppliers, meet new industry exhibitors and see products, equipment, ingredients and services for bakeries and food businesses.
The free services information area will give attendees access to useful industry resources at no cost. Live bakery kitchens and Baker’s Corner will also give visitors more ways to learn, connect and see baking skills in action.
The program will also include a Cocktail Party and the National Excellence in Baking Awards Dinner.
Key competition highlights include:
Tuesday 16 June: The National Donut Competition will take place, with Risque Donut Daddy, known as @thedonutdaddy, overseeing the day and helping crown the national winner.
Wednesday 17 June: The National Artisan and Croissant Competition will take place.
Thursday 18 June: The Australia versus New Zealand Sausage Roll Challenge will be held, with the public tasting and judging the baked goods before the official winner is declared.
Across all three days, bakeries from around Australia will enter pies and pasties in Australia’s Best Pie and Pastie Competition.
The winning bakeries will be competing for the coveted trophy.
Zoom Out
The Baking Industry Trade Show began because the sector wanted its own national event.
The first Annual Baking Trade Show was held in Melbourne in 2017.
It aimed to create a useful and industry-specific event for Australian bakers.
The event was designed to address the unique challenges faced by the sector.
Since then, it has grown into a major meeting place for the baking industry.
The 2025 Baking Industry Trade Show was the biggest so far.
It had more than 55 exhibitor stands and major competitions that made national news.
The 2026 Gold Coast event builds on that growth.
It will bring suppliers, competitions, workshops, tastings and industry events into one program.
What To Look For Next?
More program details are expected as the June event gets closer.
Visitors can check the official website for registration, courtesy bus stops and updated event information.
The final program should give attendees a clearer look at workshops, exhibitors and competition timings.
