Clear Sky Financial joins Lifeblood’s festive campaign in Robina, inspiring donations to save lives this Christmas season.
Clear Sky Financial: Giving the gift of life.
What’s Happening?
Clear Sky Financial is leading by example, with 20 of its team members donating blood and plasma at Robina Donor Centre on 27 November 2024.
The initiative supports Lifeblood’s festive campaign to increase donations during the holiday season.
Why It Matters?
With blood demand at a 12-year high, Lifeblood is calling for urgent donations to support cancer treatments, surgeries, and life-saving interventions.
Plasma is equally critical, as it helps produce treatments like anti-D, which protected Kat Macleod’s pregnancies and continues to save lives today.
Local Impact
Gold Coast’s Lifeblood centres still need to fill 600 appointments over the next three weeks, especially from donors with O and A blood types.
Clear Sky Financial’s efforts show how small businesses can inspire others to join this life-saving mission.
By the Numbers:
1 in 3 Australians will need blood at some point in their lives.
34% of donated red blood cells are used for cancer treatments and blood disorders.
Over 500,000 donors annually keep the nation’s blood supply flowing.

Your gift of blood this Christmas could bring more giggles, more moments, and more life to someone in need.
Give Something Extra Special This Season
This Christmas, your generosity could make all the difference. A single blood donation could support someone through surgery, provide moments of joy for cancer patients, or even save a newborn and their mother during childbirth.
When you donate blood or plasma before 5 January 2025, you'll receive a festive bandage created by Melbourne-based artist Kat Macleod, a plasma recipient whose life was touched by the generosity of donors.
Kat’s bandage design is a celebration of kindness, vitality, and connection. Her pattern of shining hearts and flowing lines symbolises the life force shared between donors and those who need it.
“The result celebrates healthy hearts pumping blood and sharing lifeforce with those who need it,” says Kat.
