Fatal motorbike crash, Paradise Point

A 25-year-old man has died in hospital after the motorbike he was riding was involved in a traffic crash at Paradise Point yesterday morning (June 25).
Initial investigations indicate that around 10.15am, the motorcyclist was travelling west on Oxley Drive when it collided with a Kia Stinger.
The male rider from Runaway Bay was transported in critical condition to the Gold Coast University Hospital, where he died this morning from his injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
Meanwhile, police have this morning closed Cotlew Street in Southport to traffic following another serious crash involving a motorcycle.
