Fun for all ages: the Mudgeeraba Street Party and Parade is back!
From 10am-2pm on Sunday 19 May, more than 4,000 members of the Mudgeeraba, hinterland, and wider Gold Coast community will descend upon the bustling Village Green to enjoy a day of family-friendly fun.
Visitors can enjoy activities such as face painting, rock climbing, interactive animal displays, arts & crafts, chess, dancing, live music, restaurant specials, roving entertainers, and market stalls.
Several hinterland community groups will be out in force, including the local Neighbourhood Watch, Mudgeeraba Show Society, Doyles Art Award, Nurtured Village Hampers, MATE Bystander, Rural Fire Brigade, Cycling Without Age, and more.
There will be a diverse line-up of musical acts, including Hinterland Community and Rookies bands, Mudgee Melodies, Georgia Hoareau, and other local talents.
For the first time this year, the team at Earth Mothers will be hosting a Community Healing Day alongside the Street Party, where visitors can treat themselves to free mini-sessions with trained and licenced acupuncturists, masseuses, and holistic care providers.
There aren’t many towns that have an annual street parade, and the atmosphere at the event really kicks up a notch when community groups, sporting clubs, schools, and local businesses come together to march down Railway Street and the Village Green.
The country town atmosphere is strong in the Gold Coast’s most historic suburb, and Mudgeerababarians are looking forward to welcoming visitors to share in their vibrant community spirit.
