GC grabs the money and runs
The Gold Coast has grabbed the lion’s share of a $57 million package designed to restore Queensland beaches after Cyclone Alfred.
The Federal Government and the Queensland Government teamed up to fund 20 projects costing a combined $57 million. Eight Queensland councils shared in the funding to restore severely eroded beaches.
