Australia’s first factory capable of producing lithium batteries and E.V. chargers has opened in Yatala, Gold Coast.
Why It Matters
Built by eLumina, the new facility will produce hundreds of units annually and support 300 jobs, a milestone that strengthens the Gold Coast’s position as an emerging tech and manufacturing hub, fuelling Australia’s push toward a net-zero future.
