Gold Coast suburbs hit hardest by natural disasters
Gold Coast suburbs make up seven of the top 10 worst affected areas for natural disasters in the past three years.
The northern Gold Coast suburb of Upper Coomera tops the national list followed by Helensvale. Coombabah came in as the 4th worst while Oxenford, Paradise Point, Runaway Bay and Mudgeeraba filled out the spots from 6th to 9th in the list.
