Hallmarks sells The Spotted Cow
The Spotted Cow Hotel sold as Hallmark Hospitality reshapes its holdings.
Gold Coast nightclub owner Hallmark Hospitality has sold The Spotted Cow Hotel in Toowoomba.
The sale means the company, which was named the Best Hotel Group Operator at this year’s Queensland Hotel Association Awards, has offloaded 11 venues this year.
Hallmark Hospitality sold 10 of its venues on the Gold Coast and Brisbane to Australia’s second largest hotel group, AVC, earlier this year.
The 10 hotels involved in the deal were The Lord Alfred Hotel, The Cavill Hotel, Sandbar, both Finn McCool’s pubs and Retro’s Cocktail Lounges, Lefty’s Music Hall, Hey Chica and Enigma.
The sale of the Spotted Cow Hotel was negotiated by HTL Property’s Glenn Price and the now owner is Ben White, the son of Bracken Ridge Tavern publican Michael White.
Hallmark Hospitality still owns The Lost Kingdom and Asylum nightclubs in Orchid Avenue, Surfers Paradise and Maggie May in Newstead, Brisbane.
