Helensvale punter wins $200,000

A Helensvale woman has won $200,000 in the lotto.

The lucky punter bought the winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1723, drawn on Tuesday, October 7.

Her winning entry of three winning numbers was purchased at Fortune News Helensvale.

“I can’t stop shaking!” she said when an official from The Lott called to confirm the

news. “I’m honestly in shock right now. I had just checked my ticket online moments before you called.

“I’m just sitting down right now thinking, ‘Wow! What on earth do I do now?’. Two hundred thousand dollars is wild! It’s the first time I’ve ever won anything this big in my entire life.

“It feels like my head is spinning round and round.”

Despite experiencing some winning side effects, the stunned woman couldn’t wait to share the news with her husband.

“All I want to do right now is call my husband and give him the good news,” she said.

“Only thing is he’s currently on a flight, so he is unreachable! It’s just amazing news.

“We’ll be able to help out family and tick off some travel we’ve been wanting to do.”
