London calling as ABI Interiors expands

Gold Coast success story ABI Interiors has expanded into London.
The design company has launched a major new warehouse and distribution hub near London as its gears up to extends its reach across the UK and Europe.
Siblings Sukai, Luli, and Ramu Farrell, together with their business partner Sheron Mougrabi, started the company in 2016 to supply the market with high-quality kitchen and bathroom fixtures.
Since then, the business has expanded into a global success story, now employing more than 300 people across Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
The new 1400sqm facility in the UK will handle thousands of orders each week.
ABI Interiors co-founder and CEO, Sukai Farrell, said the company’s shift in emphasis toward logistics reflected its commitment to growing further in the UK and beyond.
“We wouldn’t be here without our incredible team, and I’m so proud of how far we’ve come in such a short time,” Mr Farrell said.
“Our new UK distribution centre marks a major milestone in our journey. It enables us to deliver an even higher standard of service and design to our customers across the UK and Europe.”
The European Union is Queensland’s sixth-largest goods trading partner at $13 billion, while the UK remains a key investor and trade partner.
Minister for Finance, Trade, Employment and Training, Ros Bates, said the ABI Interiors’ expansion was a clear example of Queensland businesses thriving with the Government‘s support.
“This is Queensland design excellence competing globally – delivering new jobs, stronger supply chains and export growth,” Ms Bates said.
In 2022, the company won an Australian Export Award for E-Commerce and in 2023 the company received a Good Design Australia award.
