Massive Reward Offered to Solve 30-Year Mystery
Queensland Police are offering a $500,000 reward for information relating to the disappearance of a woman on the Gold Coast almost 30 years ago.
Tammy Dyson, also known as Tamela Menzies, was 23 years old when she was last seen alive in Currumbin on the Gold Coast on July 20, 1995.
It’s understood the young mother had travelled to the Gold Coast from Melbourne to attend a drug rehabilitation centre at Currumbin.
Ms Dyson, who was believed to have been working in the adult entertainment industry, had left her children with their grandmother.
A few days later, Ms Dyson contacted her mother, saying she would be staying in NSW for a few months before returning home.
Unfortunately, Ms Dyson has not heard from since.
Her family reported her missing three months after she left the Currumbin clinic, sparking a major investigation that has never been solved.
Queensland police are making a renewed effort to solve the disappearance.
