Mudgeeraba Parkrun supports DV Prevention Month
As part of Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month, Mudgeeraba Parkrun has partnered with ‘Creating a Safe and Respectful Hinterland’, a group of local people who have completed the MATE Bystander cultural change program.
This partnership exists to encourage runners on Saturday 18 May to wear purple to raise awareness about domestic and family violence in our community.
If you are part of the hinterland community or enjoy going for a run or walk through a picturesque park to start the weekend, please come along in your best purple attire.
Runners and walkers will assemble at d’Arcy Doyle Park on Somerset Drive in Mudgeeraba at 6:45am to complete the 5km course together. See you there!
