New lots unveiled at Kings Forest
Kings Forest launched new land as the 869 hectare community moved closer to more than 4,000 planned homes.
What happened?
Stockland launched new land sales at Kings Forest last month. The release formed part of an 869-hectare masterplanned community on the Tweed Coast.
Kings Forest is in Kingscliff, two kilometres from Casuarina Beach. The project will support over 4,000 homes for approximately 11,000 residents. Lot sizes in this release ranged from 375 to 600 square metres. The first homeowners are expected to settle and begin construction in late 2025.
The community includes plans for more than 300 hectares of conservation and rehabilitation areas. It also includes 22 hectares of open space for recreation.
Why it matters
Stockland Project Director Alex Koerber said Kings Forest will help lift housing supply in a key coastal location.
“Kings Forest will provide a range of housing options in a location that connects residents with beaches, schools, health facilities and transport, while surrounded by more than 300 hectares of conservation land,” Mr Koerber said.
He said demand was already clear before the release. “Early demand has been strong, with 104 lots already sold to buyers from both New South Wales and Queensland. Local builders, upgraders and young families are among those choosing to call Kings Forest home.
“We look forward to bringing Stockland’s extensive experience in creating award-winning masterplanned communities to this highly desirable location.”
Local Impact
Works are already underway. Plans include a town centre, schools, childcare, neighbourhood parks and a dedicated sports field.
An extensive network of walking and cycling paths will link the community. Kings Forest sits close to the new Tweed Valley Hospital and nearby employment, retail and transport hubs, including the Gold Coast Airport and the M1.
