Odyssey Robina adds festive twist to senior staycation
Odyssey Robina offers a festive Senior Staycation, with stay costs refunded if guests choose to move in.
What’s happening?
Odyssey Lifestyle Care Communities has introduced a festive update to its Senior Staycation program.
Guests who choose to move in after their stay will have the full cost of their stay refunded.
The initiative gives older Australians the chance to experience Odyssey’s luxury living through a short-term stay in a designer apartment, without pressure or obligation.
Why it matters
Aged care decisions often intensify during the Christmas period. The staycation allows seniors and families to experience daily life at Odyssey before making long-term choices.
Odyssey founder Phil Usher said the program is designed to keep the process simple.
“Our Senior Staycation program has always been about giving people a glimpse into the Odyssey experience without any pressure or expectations,” says Mr Usher. He said the festive season can be especially challenging for older Australians.
“Christmas can be overwhelming, especially for older Australians, and a stay like this can provide comfort, care and community, and now, if they decide this is a place they would like to live, we’ll happily credit their stay.”Mr Usher said the initiative also supports families already weighing up care options.
“This time of year can be incredibly busy, and we know many families are potentially at the beginning or midway through the aged care decision-making process, and this is a way to offer something that provides genuine confidence without obligation.”
