Unveiling the Culinary Extravaganza
Set against the picturesque backdrop of Kooroomba Vineyard and Lavender Farm, Australia's premier paddock-to-plate experience, Scenic Rim Eat Local Month, was officially launched on Tuesday, April 16.
Over 200 stakeholders, including producers, chefs, and farmers, converged, promising a celebration brimming with creativity and flavour.
A Gastronomic Adventure
With more than 120 events spread across the region, from Beaudesert to Tamborine Mountain, last year's program delighted epicureans and families alike.
Indulged in 40 Long Lunches, Degustations, and Dinners, immersed in 23 Workshops and Classes, embarked on 37 Tours and Experiences, and seized the opportunity to meet over 50 producers.
With over 50 new or revamped events, there was something for everyone.
Nature's Bounty
In a stroke of serendipity, last year boasted five full weekends in June, amplifying the culinary offerings.
From farm-fresh carrots to artisanal cheeses, and locally crafted wines to hand-pickled delights, Scenic Rim Eat Local Month showcased the best of Australian produce.
