Tourists flood through Gold Coast airport
Tourists have flooded into the Gold Coast over summer with the local airport recording 1.2 million passengers travelling through the terminal during December and January.
Around 600,000 people travelled in December alone, with a further 637,000 travellers since the beginning of January.
