Witnesses wanted for hit and run
Police are appealing for witnesses after a hit-and-run involving an allegedly stolen Ford Ranger in Nerang.
A white Ford Ranger was reversing out of a carpark on Wundowie Street when it struck a 51-year-old man 5.30 pm.
The driver failed to stop, and the Ford Ranger, which had been stolen from Reedy Creek on Saturday, June 15, fled south along Wundowie Street.
The pedestrian was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses, especially those with dashcam vision of the incident or the moments leading up to it, to come forward.
