World’s tallest hotel to open in November
Ciel Dubai Marina set to open as world’s tallest hotel this November
Ciel Dubai Marina, Vignette Collection by IHG, will officially open on 15 November 2025, becoming the world’s tallest hotel and home to the highest infinity pool.
The 82-floor tower will stand at 377 metres, offering 1,004 rooms and suites with floor-to-ceiling glass windows that showcase views of Palm Jumeirah, the Arabian Gulf, and Dubai’s skyline. Designed by award-winning architect Norr, the building’s striking “eye of the needle” shape is set to become an architectural icon.
Managed by The First Group Hospitality, the property provides direct access to Dubai Marina’s dining, shopping, beaches, and attractions, and is minutes away from Palm Jumeirah and Uptown Dubai. Guests will also have easy access to the Marina boardwalk, Dubai Marina Mall, and tram and metro services.
Rob Burns, CEO of The First Group, said, “We are extremely proud to witness our vision for Ciel Dubai Marina, Vignette Collection come to life in a truly idyllic location, with unbeatable views of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai skyline. Ciel represents a landmark development that reinforces Dubai’s position as a global hub for tourism and business travel. Standing at 377 meters, the all-hotel tower will redefine upper-upscale hospitality, blending innovation, luxury, and creativity through its striking design, world-class amenities, and breathtaking vistas.”

The property will feature eight distinct dining concepts, including global buffets, signature restaurants, casual cafés, and international brands. Highlights include a multi-level modern Asian venue and the world’s highest infinity pool with sky lounge.
Other facilities include a luxury spa on the 61st floor, a state-of-the-art gym, and exclusive access to Soluna Beach Club on Palm Jumeirah. Families will find experiences designed for children, while business travellers can use flexible meeting spaces and an executive lounge.
Ciel Dubai Marina also sits near JBR beachfront and Bluewaters Island, home to The Walk and Ain Dubai, the world’s tallest observation wheel.
As part of IHG’s Vignette Collection, the property is designed to deliver distinctive stays that combine luxury hospitality with unique character.
This year has already seen several major hotel openings in Dubai. Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, a superyacht-inspired property with 386 rooms and suites, opened in March. Other anticipated launches include the Mandarin Oriental Downtown Dubai, set within the Wasl Tower with 259 rooms and suites, and Zuha Resort Villas on the World Islands.
