Wotif snubs Gold Coast in top towns list
The Gold Coast has been snubbed in travel app Wotif’s annual list of top travel destinations in Australia.
Despite the Gold Coast being among the top four most popular tourism destinations for Australians (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane round out the top four), the city did not even rate a mention in the 2025 Aussie Town of the Year Awards.
